As the seventh largest city in the U.S., and one of its fastest growing, the San Antonio metro area is home to 2.1 million people who are engaged in such diverse industries as bioscience, finance, tourism, and the U.S. military.
Ranking high on various lists in recent years, San Antonio has borne out Forbes’ 2009 ranking as the fastest-recovering city in America and has weathered the global recession well. Its low cost of living and pleasant year-round weather also contribute to its attraction for relocating professionals.
