The Richland, Pasco, Kennewick area, which is located in the state of Washington, is known as the Tri-Cities Region. These cities continue to see steady growth and increased amenities due to the increase in jobs to the area, ranging from engineering to agriculture. There are also close to 100 wineries in the region which is second only to Napa Valley, CA. With the convergence of the Columbia, Snake and Yakima Rivers, a wealth of water is available to the region, not only for agriculture but for water sports as well.
The latest ACCRA Cost of Living Index, which tracks cost of living trends nationwide, states the Tri-Cities is still the most inexpensive place to live in the Pacific Northwest.
